1. The Boulder Theater
“The Boulder Theater truly is an all-around entertainment venue: live music of all genres, film, comedy, spoken word, corporate meetings, tech conferences, and private celebrations to name a few. The historic Boulder Theater has a diverse and colorful past that continues with a thriving present as one of the premiere concert venues in the nation.”
2. The Dushanbe Teahouse
The Dushanbe Tea House was sent to the people of Boulder to celebrate the establishment of our sister city Dushanbe, Tajikistan, and it is the only Asian-style tea house in the western hemisphere that was not built in the United States. From 1987 -1990, more than 40 artisans in several cities of Tajikistan created the decorative elements of the Teahouse, including its hand-carved and hand-painted ceiling, tables, stools, columns, and exterior ceramic panels. They offer a full menu as well as amazing teas. Even the hand-painted building with beautiful ceramic tiling and colorful aesthetic is enough to see in and of itself. The Dushanbe Tea House is definitely a local favorite.
3. Piece, Love, and Chocolate

By providing professional knowledge, excellent service, and an eclectic array of exceptional-quality chocolate gifts and novelties – which will be as much of a joy to give as they are to receive – Piece, Love & Chocolate is the place to go for anything and everything chocolate and cocoa-related.”
4. The Bohemian Biergarten
“From comedy to live music to karaoke to German/Czech dancing, Bohemian Biergarten will travel you to Bohemia for the “bier.” The tables you are seated on were built out of 150-year-old reclaimed lumber and the railings and the light fixtures date back to the early 1900’s. Here you will find the style of old central European restaurants combined with modern technologies, entertainment, and culture. We hope you enjoy our one-of-a-kind, locally owned Biergarten! Prost!”
5. Mountain Sun Brewery
“At the Mountain Sun Pubs and Breweries our mission is to offer five-star service, fresh, high quality pub fare and finely crafted brews for affordable prices in an environment that’s comfortable like your living room. There will never be televisions at our pubs because we want our guests to meet and discuss the world in which we live or simply to play Scrabble.
“Lucile’s has been providing Colorado with the best breakfast we can find since 1980. The original restaurant in Boulder resides in a small Victorian house painted in the signature pale yellow. The Lucile’s theme is “Lucile’s Creole Café, Exploring Creole Cooking from Around the World,” through which they have created an ambiance unlike any other breakfast restaurant.”
